John Rushton has been Arbitration and ADR Consultant for ICC UK since July 2009. For more than twenty five years previously he had been a Partner in the Construction and Engineering Group of Mayer Brown International LLP in London, with a mixed contentious and non-contentious practice.
John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (and is currently serving as a member of the Professional Conduct Committee), a member of the Society of Construction Arbitrators and a Vice-President of the Arbitration Club. He has also sat as an adjudicator and mediator.
Before joining ICC UK, Emilie worked at a European economic think-tank in Brussels where she was responsible for liaison with key EU institutions. She is now Senior Policy Advisor with particular expertise in the fields of anti-corruption, business and human rights, CSR and intellectual property. She is also responsible for ICC UK’s online communications.
Emilie holds an MSc with distinction from the London School of Economics (LSE) in Politics and Communication and a BA in Politics from the University of Sheffield. She speaks fluent French and Swedish.
Prior to joining ICC, Dorothée worked at UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) for the London Trade Mission Team, and in the private sector at LEGO®. She is now Senior Policy Advisor with particular expertise in tax, competition, and international trade. She is also ICC UK’s in-house lead on international arbitration policy.
Dorothée holds a degree from Passau University in International Business, Cultural and Language Studies and an MA in Politics from the College of Europe. She is fluent in French, German, and Spanish.
Prior to joining ICC UK, Sandra worked for a number of major hotel groups in United States, UK, Switzerland and South Africa. In her current role, Sandra is responsible for the promotion of ICC publications in the UK, as well as managing our conference and outreach programmes.
Sandra holds a degree in Hospitality and Events Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Ann joined ICC UK in August 2007, having previously worked for a leading medical manufacturing company. As Office Manager, she is responsible for all day-to-day operations, and is also an integral part of the ICC UK accounts team.
Ann holds a BA in Cultural and Media Studies, and is currently working towards an accounting qualification (AAT).
Andrew joined ICC UK in 2007, having previously held government affairs roles in both industry and non-profit organisations. He has particular expertise in the fields of trade and finance, and was responsible for the establishment of ICC Trade Finance Register in 2010. He has appeared in a number of UK and European newspapers on issues including corporate transparency, trade policy and brand protection.
