ICC UK is to hold an event later this month to examine the question of whether international arbitration is meeting the demands of corporate users.
The full-day conference—held in partnership with US law firm K&L Gates—will review recent developments in the arbitration sphere, with a particular focus on key jurisdictions such as India, Russia, China and South America. The event will also take an initial look at the new ICC Rules of Arbitration which will enter into force in January 2011.
Stephen Pattison, Director and CEO of ICC UK, said: “The conference will be a useful opportunity to consider whether international arbitration is meeting fully the demands of its users, and to look at which institutions and seats are getting ‘ahead of the game’.
“This should be particularly valuable given the forthcoming launch of the new ICC rules.”
Further details of the event can be accessed on our events page. Generous discounts apply for ICC UK members and corporate counsel. An updated programme, featuring four new panellists from industry, is now available below.
