The London Conference on Cyberspace starts on 1 November, with over 100 companies participating at the invitation of the ICC UK.
This is an important event. As we’ve highlighted in previous posts, this conference isn’t just about cyberwarfare or cybersecurity—although these are two key themes up for discussion. It is also about how the Internet can drive sustainable growth, and bring social and development benefits all over the world.
Ahead of the Conference, ICC UK has published a “top-line” messages paper, organised according to the four central themes of the Conference—economic growth, social benefits, cybercrime and safe reliable access. The paper is intended to provide a consolidated fact-base drawing on a range of studies, whilst also underscoring a number of core businesses messages on issues such as online regulation and Internet governance.
